Located in Central part of the state, Sage Canyon River Co. runs guided whitewater trips out of Maupin, Oregon. Only 2 hours from Portland, and 90 miles north of Bend, it’s not hard to escape the big city life and spend a weekend in Maupin, the gateway to the Deschutes river. The town of Maupin itself is known for it’s small town atmosphere and big adventures.
