Located in Central Oregon just a short drive from The Dalles, Sage Canyon River Co. sits in the middle of Maupin Oregon's small-town atmosphere. Only 2 hours from Portland, Oregon and 90 miles north of Bend, Oregon, it’s not hard to escape the big city life and spend a weekend with us.

Sage Canyon River Co. is your next stop for whitewater rafting on the Deschutes River. Located in Maupin, Oregon, we provide guided raft trips down the famous Deschutes River. At Sage Canyon River Co. we pride ourselves in handling large groups and customizing our trips for a variety of people, serving families, small organizations, and large corporations.

Whitewater Rafting Trips
We offer everything from a short half-day rafting trip consisting of 13 miles of whitewater to a one-day rafting trip, a real adventurous trip comprised of 18 miles of class III and IV rapids. Both include our renowned Barbeque steak and chicken lunch, shuttling service, all your rafting gear, and of course, one of our well-experienced guides.

If you’re still looking for more adventure and drenching whitewater on the Deschutes River, join us on one of our two or three day raft trips. These trips are guaranteed to soak away your cares while you tackle tons of rapids and still see beautiful scenery, big horn sheep, and even an eagle or two. In the evenings you’ll have lots of time to explore or simply kick back and relax while we satisfy your tastes with our gourmet dinners. There is nothing like escaping from civilization and reuniting with nature.

Just a short drive to the outskirts of Maupin is a scenic conference room located on a local ranch where you’ll hear nothing but the breeze. We’ll keep you energized with our homemade dishes all day long. Enjoy some great outdoor entertainment in the evening by joining us for some fishing at one of the ranch ponds, trap shooting on the ridge, or even a nice walk through the twelve thousand plant lavender field and enjoy the lush evening aroma, it’s your choice. Then let us get you set up in a hotel for the evening, so you can top off your stay by joining us the following morning on a quick 13 mile whitewater raft trip down the Deschutes River before you head for home.
